Looking for reliable and durable flexible cables? Our selection includes flexible cable, flexible power cable, flexible cable wire, and high flexible cable options designed for a wide range of applications.
Flexible cables are now widely used in many industries due to their durability, corrosion resistance and other characteristics. There are many flexible cables on the market, and the quality varies. Today, TL-LINK flexible wire manufacturer will show you how to identify high-quality flexible power cable:
1. Tensile center
According to the number of flexible cable cores and the space in the crossover area of each core, there is a real center filler wire in the center of the cable as much as possible instead of some garbage core wires made of fillers or waste materials as usual. This method can effectively protect the stranded wire structure and prevent the stranded wire from wandering to the center of the cable.
2. Core strands
The softer the flexible core strand structure, the better. The conductor uses ultra-fine oxygen-free fine twisted copper wire.
3. Core insulation
The insulation materials in the flexible cable cannot stick to each other, and at the same time, the insulation layer needs to support each individual conductor. Therefore, only high-pressure extruded PVC/TPE materials can prove their reliability and durability in millions of cable applications suitable for drag chains.
4. Strand structure
The flexible cable wire strand structure must be wound around a stable tensile center with the best twist pitch. However, due to the use of insulating materials, the stranded wire structure should be designed according to its state characteristics during movement. When the number of cores is >12, a bundled twisting method should be used.
5. Inner sheath
The inner sheath of the flexible cable extruded should replace cheap wool materials or other fillers to ensure that the stranded wire structure will not be scattered.
6. Shielding
The high-flexible cable tightly weaves the shielding layer outside the inner sheath through an optimized braiding angle. Loose braids will reduce the signal's anti-interference ability and the shielding layer will quickly fail due to the breakage of the shielding wire. The tightly woven shielding layer also has torsion resistance and torsion resistance.
7. Outer sheath
The outer sheath of the flexible cable made of different modified materials has different functions: UV resistance (UV: ultraviolet), low temperature resistance, oil resistance and high cost performance. But all these outer sheaths have one thing in common: high wear resistance and will not adhere to anything. The outer sheath must be highly flexible, but also have a supporting function, so it must be extruded at high pressure.
